Top 5 Food and Wine Tours in Tuscany

What comes to mind when you think of Tuscany? Perhaps it’s the cityscape of Florence, steeped in history and dominated by the grand Duomo Cathedral. Maybe it’s the rolling green and yellow fields of the Tuscan countryside, with cypress trees lining the roads like sentinels. Or is it Pisa and pizza? Whatever you are thinking of, the reality is even more idyllic. The region is home to Italy’s most exported wine, Chianti and the birthplace of the Super-Tuscans. Whilst Tuscany is a dream for oenophiles and art history lovers, there is truly something for every traveller to get stuck into and enjoy. We have 5 of our best day trips to prove there’s more to the region than leaning towers and wine in straw baskets!
